Friends,

Thank you for your generosity throughout the year and particularly during the Advent season.  One of the many ways that we support families in our community is the Angel-Un-Trim-a-Tree.  This year’s Angel Tree will again be managed through a SignUpGenius page.
Here is the link to the page – https://link.my-hbc.org/AngelUntrimATree.
Gifts are due back to the church by Sunday, December 18 as families will pick up on Monday, December 19.  Please wrap the gifts if able.  Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.
In addition to the HBC Angel Tree for specific families in our community, there are two ways to continue our support of community organizations who are particularly busy during this season.  Please consider participating in either of these efforts in addition to the HBC Angel Tree.
House of Mercy is sponsoring a Christmas with Mercy Toy Drive.  They are collecting $25 toys for families in need who will be “shopping” on December 17.  New, unwrapped toys are asked to be donated to House of Mercy by Monday, December 12.
More information is available here – https://houseofmercyva.org/christmas-with-mercy/.
Boxes of Basics has been incredibly busy with increased needs throughout Prince William County.  Some of the most critical needs for Boxes of Basics are listed below.
Please see more information about donating to Boxes of Basics, including donation locations, such as the Town of Haymarket Police Station, here – https://boxesofbasics.org/donation-locations.
