Haymarket Baptist Church offers these services each week:

Bible Study
Groups of adults, youth and children meet at 9:45 a.m. to study the Bible, including a class for our deaf members. Classes are available for all ages and knowledge levels. Our teachers are knowledgeable and adept instructors.

Worship
Everyone meets in our sanctuary at 11:00 a.m. to draw closer to God by worshipping him. Our service is mainly traditional, featuring a robed choir, hymns, and traditional music accompanied by both organ and piano. We usually include at least one of the more contemporary choruses or hymns. Senior Pastor Mark Olson preaches a 20-25 minute sermon based closely on the Bible and showing how the text relates to life today.

Wednesday Night Dinner
We meet in our fellowship hall at 5:20 p.m. every Wednesday to enjoy a delicious family-style meal.

Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting and Bible Study
After dinner, the adults move to the sanctuary, while the children and youth go upstairs. The children and youth enjoy a time of fellowship and bible study. The adults spend time discussing the prayer concerns of members, relatives, and friends of the church before lifting each of these people to the Lord in prayers of intercession and thanksgiving. The adults then turn to a time of Bible study, which occasionally features a topical study such as dealing with grief, explaining our faith to others (Apologetics), comparative Bible translations, or something similar.
