Ministries

Children

The children at Haymarket Baptist Church (HBC) meet Sunday mornings at 9:30 am for Sunday School and 11:15 am for Children’s Worship. They also meet throughout the school year on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm for Children’s Choir.

Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.’ Children have a trusting innocence that we at Haymarket Baptist want to preserve and nurture. We strive to accomplish this through Children’s Sunday School and Children’s Worship each Sunday morning. We encourage the children to participate in Wednesday children’s ministry and we like to hold regular special events for the children to enjoy and engage in.
