All members and friends of Haymarket Baptist Church are invited to join other Christians in a community worship service at 6:30 p.m. at Patriot High School. The service will be called, “His Church United, Your Kingdom Come,” and will include believers from at least eight churches in our community. Our choir will help lead the traditional portion of the worship service.
I hope you will make every effort to join us in this unique worship experience. Personally, I am glad to be a Baptist, but Jesus Christ has followers in many different denominations. It is good for us spiritually to join other Christians in worship from time to time.
This is the first time since I have come to Haymarket that our choir has been invited to lead in a community worship service. Many Haymarket members have told me how much they have appreciated the great improvement that our choir has demonstrated in the past year or two. Their quality of singing has improved and, just as importantly, their enthusiasm for worship has grown. Obviously, Ken Trammel has made a huge difference! You should visit our choir practices to see how he leads. His excitement about worship music is infectious! He has indeed brought our choir to the point where they are ready to lead in a community service.
