Membership

We welcome all to join our membership when they sense God leading them to that decision.

To join we require:

  1. Profession of faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
  2. Baptism by immersion.

If you have already accepted Christ as Lord and Savior and been baptized by immersion, you can join our church by coming forward during the invitation hymn at the end of any worship service. If you have already accepted Christ but have not yet been baptized by immersion, we will ask you to be immersed in our baptistry during a subsequent worship service. If you were previously baptized by some other method (sprinkling or pouring) and/or made a previous profession of faith at another church, we will gladly affirm God’s previous work in your life during your immersion at Haymarket Baptist Church. If you have previously been immersed and are a member at another church, we will gladly contact that church to let them know that you have joined HBC.
